@h2g2bob @beasts My notification said that BigV would be suspended on 31st October. Did they change the date or give different dates to different people?

@davebiff @beasts my reading was they make us new accounts on hostinguk on 31st Oct with some free (blank?) vps equivalent to our bytemark ones. They'll run both so we can transfer data, DNS, etc until January.

But with that hassle, why go for hostinguk? Same effort if you switch to someone else.

@h2g2bob that's not how I'm reading it but this is the email I got. I'm migrating to @beasts already after Hosting UK messed up my domain transfer, leaving it pointing at their nameservers with no zone data 😡
